In 2014 she was Penny Peterson Sherman's antagonist turned companion in the 2014 Dreamworks Animation film Mr. Peabody and Sherman. She also contributed her voice for characters from the animated films, Bambi II by Disney Bambi II and Blue Sky's Ice Age: The Meltdown. She is the younger sister of two actors, Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. Casper as well as Rocco are the two dogs she has. Because of the bullying, Tobin did not walk in her senior year's graduation. Tobin graduated from her school, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York City in 2007. Tobin's professional life began in Houston through the Theatre Under the Stars Cats production. She performed in the ensemble as Etcetera. The following year, she starred in the ensemble in that Theater Under the Stars production of West Side Story, also in Houston. Tobin performed in 2008 as part of her role in the Paper Mill Playhouse production High School Musical On Stage! New Jersey. In 2008 and 2009 she performed with The Oklahoma! ensemble. Theater of the Stars Company in Atlanta. Tobin performed her Broadway debut in the role of a substitute for the character of Sherrie Christian and an acrobatics move for the musical Rock of Ages. She was performing on tour with Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
