Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated for the title of Best Actress on TV for the post-apocalyptic science-fiction show on NBC called Revolution. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Greek-born parents. Her family relocated to the Greek town Skala, near Sparta, when she was four years old, before returning to Canada when she was nine. It is a proud thing to be Greek and also speaks Greek fluently. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos made the move to Vancouver to pursue acting roles in 2007. Within a matter of weeks, she found her first TV role. The role was a small part in the show Supernatural. After a couple of years being on television, the actress was offered her first part as a starring role in Majority Rules, in the year 2009. Her debut as a feature filmmaker in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes which she also she filmed the low-budget action thriller Kill For Me, with Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy.
