Her fame was sparked in 2017 after she competed in the national show for figure competition and won first in her class, and also earned the Pro badge. Aspen Rae was born and raised in San Jose, South of San Francisco Bay. Aspen Rae is Native American and Scottish descent. She was a student at California State University, Monterey campus.
